Revive your yellowed soles/midsoles with Angelus Brand - Sole Bright! It completely reverses the oxidation that typically occurs on icy/rubber soles. It's safe for all soles, including glow-in-the-dark soles, and won't interfere with glow-in-the-dark properties.
Indication
- Remove any dirt from your soles so that Angelus Brand - Sole Bright adheres to the sole and not to the dirt.
- Let your shoes dry thoroughly first.
- Use plastic gloves and the included brush to apply Angelus Sole Bright evenly to the soles of your shoes.
- Apply a light to medium layer of Sole Bright to the yellow areas of the soles to be treated. Be careful not to apply too thickly.
- Be sure to apply the product very lightly to the edges to prevent the product from running into unwanted areas. Avoid contact with non-rubber materials, as this can cause burns.
- Cover with plastic wrap to prevent the product from evaporating in the sun.
- Leave in the sun for 1-6 hours (1 hour for midsoles, 4-6 hours for clear/frosty soles). Check regularly!
- Multiple sessions are needed for clear/icy soles and older shoes, this may increase to 8-10 sessions.
Tips
- Try to place the shoe as flat as possible to avoid leakage in unwanted areas.
- Often one session is not enough, so be patient and repeat as often as necessary.
- Multiple sessions are required for extremely yellowed soles/material.
- Sole separation can occur in extremely hot weather. Therefore, it's recommended to stuff the sneakers with a sandwich bag filled with ice to prevent separation.
- Caution - Use gloves!
Make your own food coloring!
- Mix 50% Sole Bright with 50% Angelus Leather Dye or Suede Dye and create your own custom colors.
- Apply the mixture to the soles and follow the regular steps.
- Let it dry for a few hours.
- Then wipe off the residue and repeat the process several times until you get the desired result.
- Let it sit for 24 hours and then clean it with alcohol or warm water and soap to remove excess dye.
