How do I use Shoe GOO ?

1. Clean the surface you want to use Shoe GOO on before you start. Make sure that any dirt residues are removed before repairing the shoe.
2. Use a thin layer Shoe GOO directly from the tube on the area you want to repair or protect. Use gloves for this.
3. Take a stick or other object and spread it evenly over the surface. Make sure all holes are properly filled and smooth it out completely.
4. Take a hairdryer and heat the area for 5 minutes so that the Shoe GOO can harden.
   • Keep a distance of at least 15 cm from the surface and set the hairdryer to the lowest setting.
   • If you don't use a hair dryer, give it between 3 and 4 hours to harden properly.
5. Repeat step 3 a number of times to turn the thin layers into a thick layer.
6. Let everything dry out for 24 to 72 hours for optimal results.

Complete curing takes 24 to 72 hours, depending on the environment. At lower temperatures and higher humidity, the curing time increases; at higher temperatures the curing time decreases. To speed drying time, apply heat with a hair dryer on the lowest setting. Hold the hairdryer at least 15 cm from the surface.

How can Shoe GOO be cleaned up?

Small amounts of Essential Deglazer , acetone, or citrus-based solvents can be used on uncured glue; the glue will bulge and brush off. Hardened adhesive can be removed by cutting or scraping.

Is Shoe GOO water resistant?

Yes. It is water resistant immediately after application.

• Apply Shoe GOO directly to the surface you want to waterproof.
• Use thin layers Shoe GOO , allowing each layer to harden for 3 to 4 hours.
